I need to transfer money from my Wells Fargo bank account in the U.

I need to transfer money from my Wells Fargo bank account in the U.S. to a merchant's Bank Central Asia account in Indonesia. 1). How much would it cost me to send about $75.00 to $100.00? 2) I have the recipient's account #; SWIFT code and recipient's name - is there anything else I need for this transfer? 3) How long does it take for the recipient's to access the money I send 4) Do I need to physically go to a local WFB branch to do this or is there a way to do it online? Thanks in advance! Misty.

Funny how I gave you a reasonable HONEST answer yet you still gave the answer a negative rating just because you didn't like what the answer was. Get real.

    Hello, Misty!

The other "expert" answers are quite lacking. Wells Fargo's CEO service is definitely not what you're looking for; it's for business/commercial banking. Here's the information you need:

    1. The international wire transfer fee is a flat fee, and may vary from state to state. Check with your local banker to determine the fee, but it should be somewhere in the neighborhood of $20 to $35-ish.
    2. Here's a link to Wells Fargo's Wire Transfer Quick Reference Guide. It has all the information you need (and more).
    3. The money is sent upon clearing & overnight settlement, so it is unavailable for your use immediately upon processing and received by the recipient bank upon the next business day or two (in most circumstances). The availability timeframe for your recipient is really up to the recipient bank, and can be released wither immediately or upon their discretion.
    4. For assistance with Foreign Currency Wire Transfers, call (800) 786-5593 or visit your local branch and speak with a banker.

    I hope this has helped!

This expert is helping you out because there weren't many active Wells Fargo experts.

Wells Fargo makes it easy to initiate wires electronically through the Commercial Electronic Office® (CEO®) business portal and the CEO Mobile® service, as well as through non-electronic channels. You can quickly process same-day and future-dated domestic and foreign wire payments in U.S. or foreign currencies, and take advantage of real-time exchange rates.
You can also approve or reject outgoing wires and monitor wire activity in your accounts when you're away from your desk through your smartphone. View wire reports on your schedule and customize them to your needs on our award-winning Internet portal.
To get the specific information you need, contact us.

To send a wire transfer, please visit a Wells Fargo location. We cannot accept wire instructions through email or fax because your signature is required and must be witnessed by a representative of the bank.

After sending your initial wire, you can initiate other wires over the phone. To initiate wires by phone:
Complete a Wire Agreement at the branch and order a personal identification number (PIN). Your PIN will arrive by mail in 10 to 14 business days. You will use this PIN to initiate wires over the phone.
If you send wires to the same account number regularly, ask a representative at your branch for a Repetitive Wire Code. Your code number will arrive by mail in 10 to 14 business days. You will use this code to initiate wires over the phone. For each transfer, only the dollar amount of the wire may change.

There is a fee for sending a wire transfer. For details, please refer to your Consumer Account Fee and Information Schedule or call us at 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557).
