    Dial *73 send and let it end the call on it's own after a few beeps. Then dial *86 and you should be good to go.

      Just to explain to you June, the reasoning of the suggestion to dial *73 is to cancel any call forwarding that might have been accidentally set up via a pocket dial (actually can happen easy because *71 is the way to set up call forwarding and the buttons are all on the same side of the phone). The *86 is used to connect to voicemail.

      If this method works to dial *86, but not the normal way you connect to voicemail (like lets say you normally hit a button that says call voice mail and it still fails) let us know as this just means the routing digits in the phone settings are incorrect.

    Look in your contact list and see what number is assigned to VM. You can set up a speed dial of your cell phone number and you will get into VM.

    Also from the main screen, choose MENU>SETTINGS>CALL>VOICEMAIL SETTINGS and insure *86 is your VM number.

    If the number is correct in your contact list, you may have to call into tech support as a pointer may be pointing where it should not be. I read on here of others who had your issue and it was corrected within 30 seconds.
