I just realized my ticket was issued in my married name but my IDs are in my maiden name.

I just realized my ticket was issued in my married name but my IDs are in my maiden name. United says they cannot change the name. Will I have trouble getting through TSA? What should I do? I fly in 48 hours and its the weekend so I can't get an ID in my married name.

Take a copy of your marriage license. Along with your driver's license, you should be fine.

This expert is helping you out because there weren't many active United Airlines experts.

You cannot reissue the ticket in another name. You will need to bring proof of marriage with you and explain it to the TSA agent. They may pull you aside to investigate. Allow extra time to ensure that you make your flight.

Make sure you get a valid piece of new identification as soon as possible to avoid the hassle in the future.
