Hi Bill, my name is Cheri Torres and I am with DISH Network Internet Response Team. I came across your post and want to help! We have a few different codes for each of our different models of remotes. The remote model number should be located on the back of the remote at the top, usually a 2 to 3 digit number with a decimal point. I will list here for you the best codes for each of our different models of remotes and the instructions for addressing the remote to the TV. I hope this information is useful and if you need further assistance please let me know!

    Remote codes
    3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.4 IR remotes - codes 566, 762, 568, 654, 770, 659, 888.
    5.0, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 IR remotes - codes 566, 888, 564, 664, 770, 677, 887.
    4.0 and 4.4 IR/UHF remotes - codes 556, 445, 552, 664, 888, 818.
    6.0, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 IR/UHF remotes - codes 566, 770, 999, 674, 669, 888.
    20.0, 20.1 IR and 21.0 21.1 IR/UHF remotes - codes 560, 829, 556, 761, 560, 656, 777, 828.

You can do a code search. This works on most tv's.
Make sure the TV is on
press the TV button on your remote until all the top buttons lite up
    press the main power button
press the channel up button slowly, about once per second until the tv turns off.
(if you accidentally go past the code, sometimes you can press the channel down button to go back, but if not you have to start over.)
press the # button and you are done.
