My tv only displays "no signal". I am tuned to the correct channel (channel 4) on the TV and the receiver is set to HDMI1. I've turned the receiver off and on multiple times, but it still comes up with "no signal".

"What a great service! I was out of answers and even though my "problem" was relatively simple it would've taken me much longer to figure it out if ever."
K, grab ur tv remote, not dish network & press the video/source/input button slowly till u see dish on ur screen. Turn ur tv & receiver on. Also if u don't have ur tv remote go to the tv itself & see if u have a Visio/input button. Ur tv needs to be on HDMI input & not channel 4. Let me know so I can help u more.

Still not working. The TV input is set to HDMI. I still have a blue screen that says "no signal". When I turn the receiver on it will say "retrieving data" shortly then it will go again to "no signal".
That blue screen with no signal means ur still on the wrong input, Dish networks receiver will display aquiring satellite signal with 0 of 5 displayed on the screen. It will also say Dish netwrk. If possible look behind ur tv & see what HDMI number its hooked to. Most HD tv's have 2 to 4 HDMI hook-ups. So keep trying to change ur tv input.
Let me know if u need more help, I'll help till ur good to go.
Thanks that got it . . . sort of. When I looked to see which HDMI # I was in I jiggled the cord and the tv came on. Actually, you helped a lot! Thanks! Now I won't have to miss falling skies tonight! ;)
