My second receiver is not working properly.

My second receiver is not working properly. Whenever I turn the television, I can only watch for about 10 seconds before the picture goes off and a message comes on the screen. The message has #122 and says that there is an internal communication failure.

    Sounds like your receiver is going out. Call Dish and they will either send you a replacement (if you think that you can swap it out yourself), or you can have a technician come out and do it. Th tech is the best route, since they can check over your whole system. If this is the 1st time you have had to have a tech come out, you can get the fee waived if you add the protection (insurance) plan onto your account. (you can have it removed later).
