you need to hook up either with coaxial cable, or RCA from receiver to vcr to tv. then vcr would be tunes to ch 3 or 4 and tv tuned to the modulated channel of the vcr.

if you are running hd on the tv, you'll have to run a set of rca or coax output to the vcr/dvd combo. and from the dvd/vcr you'll have to run rca or coax to the tv. you won't have hd on the signal from/to the dvd/vcr but you will be able to record

You will need a coax cable between dish rcvr and VCR/DVD and another coax between VCR/DVD to your tv.

If you DVD VCR combo TV? If you hook the coax cable or RCA red white and yellow cable from the Dish Reciver to the video one or coax in on the Tv you should be all set. After you can see Dish on the TV then the rest is for you to figure out how the TV will record or play DVD / VHS by useing the TV remote that came with the TV to change between DVD , VHS or Dish

just hook it up to your tv and then select that input and you should be able to view your dvd/vcr combo
