Can not get my tv to work says warning 981 boot recovery bootstrap ID 1132 Hardware ID RPAD Receiver ID 92818350 Vital program information will now be downloaded into your receiver . Do not disturb or unplug until this screen disappers Then it gos to dish network start up and still nothing would like a service man to come out and fix my tv This has been like this for 5 hours I think we need a new receiver Very unhappy customer

    When you have a that error message it means they the hard drive in your receiver is defective so you need to call dish and have a tech go out and replace your receiver.

    I'm sorry to hear that you are having this issue. If it has been more then 4 hours go ahead and unplug the reciever. If it continues to give you the message once it restarts, call 1-800-333-3474 and ask for a replacement. It should be at no charge to you. Also make sure to ask for credits for the days without service while you wait for the replacement.

    1st try unplugging receiver for 1 minute. Then plug back in & this will reset it.

      K, If this does work or doesn't call dish at 1-800-333-3474 & have a service call made. Ur receiver or lnbf's outside at the satellite is going bad. Let me know if u need more help.

    don't be unhappy, no technology is without an occasional hiccup. try to unplug it for 10 seconds and then plug back in and see if it comes up. if not then call 1800333dish and ask for an internal technician and they will verify your system from start to finish and ensure that nothing is causing the receiver to have problems.
