press and hold the info button on your remote to run a system test and then you'll be able to tell if your dish has low signal strength. if it does, you'll need to call 1 800 531 5000 request a service call. the only time you should never lose signal is when its raining with heavy cloud coverage or snow build up on your dish
I did finally get ahold of a supervisor, and did a system test. A technician is coming out tomorrow to re-tune the satellite dish. Thanks!
