Why do I lose the signal during any rain event?

Why do I lose the signal during any rain event? Have called twice this morning and once was told it's gonna happen with rain and snow, the second time, was put on hold and then got dial tone.

    You should only loose signal in heavy rain if light rain is causing problems then your dish needs to b re tuned

      Just call into technical support at 1-800-531-5000, so a tech can come out a "re-tune" (Realign) your dish

      Thanks, will give it one more try. Not happy with two of the three calls I've made this morning were disconnected on their end.

      Sorry your having problems with our phone rep's - when you call in ask to speak to a supervisor, let them know you have called in and have been disconnected twice

    press and hold the info button on your remote to run a system test and then you'll be able to tell if your dish has low signal strength. if it does, you'll need to call 1 800 531 5000 request a service call. the only time you should never lose signal is when its raining with heavy cloud coverage or snow build up on your dish

      I did finally get ahold of a supervisor, and did a system test. A technician is coming out tomorrow to re-tune the satellite dish. Thanks!
