What does the Missing Guide Info code 920 mean since the guide information seems to be there and the machine works fine?

    920 means it's not getting 'updated' info. Through the satellite feed the dish also picks up the guide info. This code shows at that time it couldn't get a signal for that particular satellite. If it happens more often, interferes with programming, or if you have the protection plan call 1-800-531-5000 so we can send a tech to check dish alignment.

      Without protection plan tech visit is $49, so I'd wait it out if it's not affecting anything.

      you can also reset receiver to see if it clear the 920. As The Super Tech Solver stated after the reset if still getting the 920 you will need a service call.

    Try resetting your receiver. That should make the message go away

    It is possible as well that the IRD is on the wrong satellite set up. If it's set up for a Ka/Ku5 or SWiM5 and you have a Ka/Ku3 or SWiM3 LNB on your dish it can cause this issue.
