If you don't have a DVR, it won't be there. You need to have your DVR hooked up to the internet for it to work, but that has nothing to do with it 'showing up'. Menu - Extras. I would try going to www.directv.com/myaccount. Sign in or sign up (really easy) and type in 722 in the search box under help. It will explain how to resend authorizations. If no luck, call 1-800-531-5000.
You need an HD DVR (HR2x/R22) to be able to view the Pandora and Youtube on the receiver. Next you need to make sure you are connected to the internet. If you have never been connected to the internet the Pandora will not be in the menu. If you are not connected to the internet and do not have Whole Home DVR service then just plug an ethernet cable into port 1 on the back of the receiver. If you do have Whole Home DVR service then you would need to call 1-800-531-5000 to have them bring you a Cinema Connection Kit. If you are connected to the internet (to find out if you are go to menu->setup-> info and test-> and then press select on system test. If you are not connected to the internet the test will fail on the internet part.) I would try resetting the receiver. If that doesn't work I would call DirecTv, because your receiver might be bad
