if it is your password on your online account you will have to speak with the directv.com department to reset your password. if it is the password for your account when you speak with anyone at directv or the password on your receiver any customer service rep can change them for you. just call 1-800-531-50000 comments

if it is the password on the receiver you can go to menu-settings- reset- reset everything. it will take box back to factory defaults.
