Easiest way to complete is log on to your directv.com account and select the equipment tab. Next you can hit the link for reauthorize equipment. Now find the receiver you are having problems with and hit continue and that should resolve your problem.

there are 2 ways to resend authorization to your receiver: 1. call customer service at 1-800-531-5000 and ask a representative to resend authorization to that receiver 2. log onto your account at directv.com, click on the equipment tab, click on the link for reauthorization, select the receiver you are having trouble with, and click on continue
