Genie receiver has a blinking yellow light.

Genie receiver has a blinking yellow light...when i refresh it, it turns green, "searches for signal", then says "Select a server" No servers detected...what is going on?

    You have a loose coax connection to that box, check the wiring from the wall to the client. Also try rebooting the main Genie server.

    try resetting the big genie box the yellow iight means this ox is not communicating with the main genie box look for loose conections o the boxes and if the problem persist you need a service call for a service call

    There could be a few different reasons why you are not getting a signal. It sounds like you need to call 1-800-531-5000 and tell them that you need a service call. because you have either a bad coax line, too many splitters in the line, a bad splitter in the line, a cut in the line, or a splitter that is not ours. Cause that is many of the reasons why the mini genie lose signal with the main Genie.

    Shannon, you most likely will not require a service call for this issue. Disconnect and reconnect the satellite in/SWM cable on the back of the Genie Mini (a.k.a. client) and the light should turn green automatically. If it stays yellow, reset your main, larger Genie. After its reset, reset the Genie Mini. Once all the resets are complete, the issue will either be resolved or you'll need to give 1-800-531-5000 a call.
