being in crg (customer retention group/save team), i am the last person you will ever need to speak with to...
When you moved, if the technician could get a line of sight, you are bound by your contract because Directv can service your address. Because you do not like the way service has to be installed does not cancel your contract. That is a decision only you can make.
Early Cancellation Fees can be as high as $480 because they are pro-rated at $20 per month for each month of the agreement you do not complete. Then there are equipment fees added to that if you did not return your leased equipment to Directv in a timely manner.
My suggestion is to call Directv at 1-800-531-5000 to find out what you were charged for and if there is any way to work this out.0 comments

I know the directv system up and down. I can give you an answer to anything. I've been a technician for...
What do you mean destroy? The way installations work are of there is a way to install, but The customer is either unhappy with the location or a landlord won't let you install, then the cancellation fee falls on the customer. It's to prevent people from getting out of contract early. The only place to dispute would be to call 18005315000 and talk to either the billing department or the save team
How can I help you today?
