    Its not a bad box, its signal related, call 18002662278 and request a tech out to check the signal of the channels out. It will be more than one channel that does not work

    Hello Paul. Looking up your channle lineup it looks like Fox News is on channel 37 and 837 in HD. Are both channels out? What are you seeing on the screen? You can try power cycling the box by unplugging from power and plugging it back in. This may reset the box. It will take about 15 minutes or so for the guide and On Demand to reload. Fox News is working in my area (Chicago). It may just be a small outage at your local level with Comcast as well.

      Unplugged power and plugged back. still nothing on Channel 37. I don't have HD but I tried 837. It worked for about two minutes. Switched back to 37. Now all channels display "To be Announced" an error code appeared at some point SOaOO (or S0a00).

      I checked again. Now all OK except Channels 37 and 38?
      It has been down all morning? At least since 9 am.

      Unfortunately it sounds like the box is bad then Paul. You can try to make sure the connections are all tightened on the box and any other points such as wall plates and splitters as well just to be sure.

      You can bring the box to your nearest local Comcast office and swap it out for a new one or schedule a technician to come and swap it out for you. If you go to the office, ask if there are any current promotions that may be able to save you some money. If you have not been on a promotion in a while, there can be a good chance of this. If you schedule a technician, they can also do a bit of troubleshooting to make sure there are no other issues.
