Can someone explain why I have received a letter from The Urban League of Kansas and Bank of America stating that they denied my application for Government Program to save my home? Their letter did not give the exact reason for denial yet when I read the list of qualifications, I qualified for nearly every one given. I have been making endless copies and faxing to anyone that needed them in order to get help yet NOTHING seems to be good enough. I am worried and I truly do not want to loose my home. Anyone out there have any advice? I have skills that I could offer the bank in administration and home repair along with my husband who is a tree/trimmer, tree expert. Maybe the bank could hire us to clean and maintain empty properties in exchange for late payments. I'm reaching but willing to step out of the norm. Please...Anyone have answers?....Help!

    Let's be great TOGETHER!

Call in. The underwriter who gives the yes or no on the account ALWAYS says the reason that a modification was denied. You might think that you qualify but after checking paperwork something might not have added up. Call in, have the associate look through the COMMENTS section of the system we use which is called "homesaver' to see what the underwriter comments were. you can then go from there.
