Actually, George, at&t tech support is open 24/7/365. Directly is supported by people who may or may not employees of the company. We take time out of our day to help customers who need a point in the right direction.

If you are experiencing pixelization, try rebooting your residential gateway (what you may call the modem) by unplugging it for 10 seconds to allow your system to re-sync.

If that doesn't work, call at&t tech support. 800-288-2020.

The best way to reach tech support is when the automated system asks for your phone number, deny it if it recognizes it andsay you don't have one when it asks you to provide one.

When it then asks the reason for call say, uverse. Then say tech support and the rest of the prompts should be self explanatory.

Edit: When the automated system asks for your telephone number or recognizes the number you are calling from and wants to know if that is the number you are calling about, state, "no." And when it then asks for the number you are calling about state, "I don't have one." It will then give you a list of options, choose u-verse..... then tech support. Then follow the prompts, which should be intuitive at this point.

Could be a loose connection or possibly your box is faulty. On the from of the box there is a reset button try that. If that doesn't work while Uverse is off you can unplug box for 5-6 mins see if that will do it. Each time you do this its going to start over in the programming . You have to be patient. If that doesn't work call AT&T at 1-800-288-2020 . There are other steps that can be tried and a tech can come out too. Thank you!

george att tech support is open 24x7 365, youhave to go thru an automated IVR system that is sometimes a little rough to get thru. to your problem you picture breaking up is more likely a problem with outside wiring issue that a technican would have to run tests. you will have to call tech support 1-800-288-2020 and then press *0#0*0# the gets you past the IVR system to a live person if you keep pressingin the star, zero and pound keys.

    hope this helps.
