PBC button work with devices that have WPS feature. If your hooper is wifi, you probably will need to open ports in the modem. You need check hopper DOC's for port numbers. Then in your address bar type 192.168.1.254, and under homenetworking, then select DMZ function you put your port numbers under UDP and TCP fields. This will allow remote access through modem.

    Push Button Configuration (PBC)
NOTE: The PBC method is to be used if the wireless client device (device that you are using to connect to the network) has a WPS button (either an actual one or a virtual one).

    Step 1:
Click or press the WPS button on the client device.

    Step 2:
Click the WPS button on the Linksys device. A pop-up window from the Wireless > Basic Wireless Security tab of the Linksys device will appear. This window will indicate the progress of WPS client configuration.your router is the links us device they are mentioning. If its not working then please call AT&T tech support at 1-877-722-3755. Thank you!
