    Take the SIM card out blow into where the SIM card is stored put it back in turn phone back on. If it doesn't work call AT&T 1-800-331-0500 or go to the local AT&T wireless store and they both can help you! Thank you!

    Sylvie the sim card is fine in most cases it's inserted correct or just needs to be updated with your wireless service provider and if it's a bad sim card then most of the time you can get a new one for free

    SIM cards are free as long as you go to a corporate location. I would recommend doing that to get a replacement anyhow!

    you must have gotten a new phone with a new sim or just a new sim that has not been PROVISIONED on the system yet. If it was an upgrade you can call to activate if the phone was ordered and delivered via mail or you can go online and activate. visit the att.com/support page and put in the search box about unprovisioned sim and it will show you the steps to correct or direct you to contact customer service.

    Make sure the sim card is inserted correctly, (not upside down or backwards). If this doesn't work you may have a bad sim and will have to contact AT&T wireless for further assistance. There should be no charge for this.
