    You will need to reset the network settings in the device. Go to SETTINGS>>GENERAL>>RESET>>RESET NETWORK SETTINGS. This won't erase any of your data, it just overwrites the network programming. After the reset is complete, dial *228 and listen to the call. Select option #! and your phone should complete over the air programming. You must be within a Verizon Wireless service area for these steps to be successful. In the event that the phone fails to program, call in from another line to 800-922-0204 and have tech support walk you through a more complete reset. I hope this helps!

      From the home screen simply touch "Settings", the icon looks like a cog or gear. Then touch "General". "Reset" is at the very bottom of the menu.

    What kind of phone is it that we're referring to? The Fixer is talking about an iPhone and I'm wondering if maybe it's a different kind of phone?

    Try dialing *22899 Send from the keypad or emergency call menu, this will reprogram the phone and the lock code will now be the last 4 digits of your phone number.

    The quickest fix would be to dial *22899, that will reprogram your network settings on the device and should take it out of this mode. If that doesn't work, I would suggest going to your local store so they can take a look at it. Is there anything else I can help you with today?
