You will need to reset the network settings in the device. Go to SETTINGS>>GENERAL>>RESET>>RESET NETWORK SETTINGS. This won't erase any of your data, it just overwrites the network programming. After the reset is complete, dial *228 and listen to the call. Select option #! and your phone should complete over the air programming. You must be within a Verizon Wireless service area for these steps to be successful. In the event that the phone fails to program, call in from another line to 800-922-0204 and have tech support walk you through a more complete reset. I hope this helps!2 comments

What kind of phone is it that we're referring to? The Fixer is talking about an iPhone and I'm wondering if maybe it's a different kind of phone?
Try dialing *22899 Send from the keypad or emergency call menu, this will reprogram the phone and the lock code will now be the last 4 digits of your phone number.

The quickest fix would be to dial *22899, that will reprogram your network settings on the device and should take it out of this mode. If that doesn't work, I would suggest going to your local store so they can take a look at it. Is there anything else I can help you with today?
