Unfortunately if you have forgotten your password you will need to call to have the system reset. It may take a day and you will lose any recorders greetings, personal settings and any voice mails on the box.
If you have Fios Digital Voice and you created a user account at Verizon.com/FiosVoice you may be able to reset there.

Call 1-800-verizon an agent can reset it for you immediately. It does not take a day and you will not lose any messages as the other answer states. All you want is the pin reset, a mailbox reset would erase all the messages and greetings but you do not need that.
I have worked as an RSR for Verizon for over 3 years.
Call CS at 18009220204 and have them reset. If you have set up your online account you can log into your my verizon account and change it there.
