Do you know your phone number? If you lost your phone and you think that you cannot find it, go into a Verizon corporate store (not an authorized agent or premium retailer). Have them check to see if you are eligible to upgrade. I know that some prepay accounts are eligible to upgrade if you've had your equipment long enough. Also we have unlimited prepay for $50 and if you go get a new phone before the end of April the $35 activation fee is waived if you have to get a new number. Hope this helps.

I would suggest contact customer care or going to your local store to have the phone suspended so no one is using the balance you have available on the account. Once there they can go over replacement options for you, which include, activating a device you may available, upgrading your device (if eligible), or getting a new phone at full retail price.
