You should be able to try to update the software on your phone by going to the menu. Then scroll all the way down to phone info and then see if there is a software update option. Ensure you don't have your number blocked from data access. If that doesn't work take it into a corporate verizon store for them to flash a software upgrade into it.

Your phones Bluetooth may not be compatable. I see this all the time. Check parrots compatablity listings.
