Hey guys.

Hey guys. I have Verizon Wireless. I have a iPhone 4. I think I'm gonna trade to Sprint for an unlimited plan. Is there anything Verizon can do to keep me? Like give me an unlimited plan?

Unfortunately we cannot add the unlimited data plan, only a select group of employees have access to these are there are strict guidelines to adding this to customers accounts. We would hate to lose you to Sprint, we could look at a lower minute plan if you aren't using all your minutes. A word of caution against Sprint though is that their data plan is only unlimited when you are on their network, so if you are roaming you are limited to 300MB and could possible pay overages or risk being asked to leave their network. Where I live I see customers coming in daily with letters from Sprint telling them they are roaming to much and are being kicked off the Sprint Network. Is there anything else I can help you with?

I'm sorry I accidently clicked the wrong rating. I'm sorry. My friend talked to Verizon about 2 days ago. He complained about the same thing I did. Not only did they give him an unlimited plan for his entire family but the also lowered his bill. Can you please explain how that happened?

That I don't have an answer for, it was probably escalated high enough in chain of command to someone that can make these changes, but they are few and far between. This is only the 2nd time I've heard of it happening in almost a year since we stopped offering the unlimited plan. If you keep asking for a supervisor they might get you high enough to someone that has the capabilities to do this. Unfortunately I do not have the capabilities to do this, and I bet most of the Insidr's on here don't have that time of power either.

He got sent to a customer loyalty specialist and he/she did that all for them. Is there a way I can contact one of these specialists?

There is not a direct line to that department but if you contact customer service at *611 from your cell phone and start inquiring about porting your number to Sprint they will transfer you to a loyalty specialist.
