to my understanding airlines go for someone with a college degree, but what if college was unable to be completed due to the lack of money and decided to work for an airline in the meantime is there still a low chance of getting hired?

Depends on the position you are going for. Management or Mechanics would certainly require some college but customer service, flight attendants and ground handlers have been hired in the past without it. It really depends on the interview process and whether you get through the first one. If you can sound literate, are enthused and can shine you may stand a chance!

I'll try to make it easy.

A college degree is not a requirement for the entry level jobs and the nice thing with the airline industry is that you can move up as fast as you want to with the drive to succeed. There is always an opportunity as things are always changing, if you are up to a challenge then this is the industry for you. I think there is also a employee discount for a college, with such a large company there are so many different areas to work in, check united.com under company information and there will be a job search tab. Best of luck to you.

    Hello

You can apply for the position. And you will probably have good chances depending on what you can clearly offer to the company as well. United will look for people who has already a good work background experience in the aviation industry as well. If you didnt finish your college, you can be hired as well, BUT, it is very important, after you get this job, to CONTINUE AND FINISH your college, so you can be ready in a few years to compete for new positions.

    Hope this helped as well
