I don't think you will get any resolution from United. Sorry, but don't want to set any unreasonable expectations. Here is part of the thought process:
The reason for this is that putting things that are not easily replaceable into your checked baggage is NOT recommended (for now obvious reasons). Plus there is no way to reasonably prove that the keys were in there, they may have fallen out, or to justify WHY anyone would steal the keys to an unknown vehicle parked at an unkown airport. Also, it may have been the TSA who caused the problem during the screening process.

You have done all you can do for the time being. Claims take an awfully long time and you should be hearing from someone shortly. If you don't hear from anyone soon, contact the Baggage Resolution Center.

I would continue to call the baggage resolution office about your loss 1800 335 2247. It has been taking a long time for refunds and customer service to get thing straight. However, June seems a little too long to me. Please gather your documentation and send an email to :
