    If you have an lg mytouch android phone and you cannot remember your pattern lock, after so many attempts the phone will ask you for your gmail address and password and if you know this you will be able to unlock the phone. If you don't know it you we I'll have to completely wipe the phone doing a hard key reset. If it comes down to that then you can take it to a store and the rep can preform this for you or you can call customer service from an alternate phone and tech support can walk you through it.

    what kind of LG phone are we talking about, tell me so i can give you the instructions on how to wipe the phone out using the buttons. as for the network unlock code for starters press *#06# and you phone will display a 15 digit number. This is your phone's serial number, which you will need to have the phone unlocked. Next call 1-800-937-8997 and request to have the unlock code for the phone. They will ask for the serial number and within 48 hours, they will email you the unlock code and instructions on how to use it. Now, if for whatever reason they do not give you the code, you will have to purchase it online through venders such as ebay (which I hear sells them pretty cheap)

      it's a "my touch" series LG model. need to be able open first, it has a screen touch pattern which I forgot, so, without that cannot access unlock code

      Turn off the phone.
      Press and hold the Volume Down and Power keys.
      Wait 3 seconds and press the Back and Menu keys.
      Note: If you see the LG logo before pressing the Back and Menu keys, the reset hasnt been completed and you will need to restart.
      Release the Power/Lock key after you see the LG logo.
      Release the remaining keys after the LG logo flashes (blinks once).
      The Android Unpacking screen appears.
      The phone will restart and complete the factory reset.

      i should note that without knowing the pattern this is the only way you can get back into the phone, but it comes at the cost of losing all info that wasn't saved to your gmail, sim card, or memory card
