I keep getting calls from unidentified companies.

I keep getting calls from unidentified companies. I want to block these calls, but T-Mobile wants me to pay $4.99 per month to add the Family Allowances plan to allow me to block numbers.

Thanks for the responses, but they don't help. My cell phone has been on the 'Do Not Call' list for 18 months. The repeating offender's number is 617-390-4562 and I just looked up on 800notes.com. Apparently I'm not the only victim.

What I need is a method to block a specific number and not have to pay $4.99 per month for it.

Thanks, I have an HTC HD7 Windows Phone.

Android Phones have a built in setting that you can go into. On the home screen select, settings, call, call rejection, you will see settings for auto reject and auto reject list. You just add the numbers you would like to auto reject and the calls will not go to your handset. If your blocking an unknown caller or number. Then from the call log, long press the number and select "add to blacklist" all unknown callers incoming phone calls will be auto rejected.

Saving the world from high cellphone bill prices!

Right now, just like the iphone, there is no feature to block numbers. The easiest way is to do family allowance. But a free way, youll need to change your device to a blackberry or android to use third party apps. I am in the same boat using the HTC RADAR myself. I heard "youmail" was able to block numbers, but never tried it myself... just thinking outloud i guess...
