    That was a big issue with sidekicks before the android 4G version. If you didnt proactively back them up... they are lost! Sorry to hear, I know I wouldnt want to retype hundreds of contacts!

    With your new device it should be mobile backup compatible or even have a windows live and or gmail account to back your contacts up this time. Best part! its automatic if you leave the sync setting on!
