if Tmobile put a "Bad ESN" status on the phone, you're not going to have luck putting it back on T-Mobile until it's cleared, but yes you can unlock it and put it on other networks....HOWEVER, the network you decide to go with makes the world of a difference. Verizon works off of a completely different network in the US (CDMA) where Tmobile, ATT, and a handful of other carriers use what's called GSM. If you want to keep using that phone, I would suggest ATT. I'm about 90% sure that phone won't work on Verizon (I have seen phone wizards work some seemingly impossible things, hence the 90%) My advice is to sell the phone on ebay or craigslist and just use the money to buy a verizon phone if you're not open to the idea of taking it to ATT
