I have seen this before on the Reflex and nothing solves it - the phone will most likely have to be exchanged. If the phone was purchased less than a year ago, LG's warranty would still apply and they would replace the phone for free as long as there is no physical damage to it. The contact info for LG would be in the documentation that came with the phone, or available on their website. A Sprint service and repair center could also replace it for you, but there would be a $50 charge if you do not carry the monthly protection plan on that line

Your device has a one year limited warranty from LG. You can schedule warranty service through this website:

There is no way to reset the LG Rumor Reflex when it is power cycling. -
What you're experiencing is very common. Its called power cycling and I haven't seen a solution to the problem. Really what you need is to find a replacement. LG does have a one year manufacture replacement. The problem is software, and it happens like a tumor. If one bit of code gets off, the whole thing gets blocked up by one bit of code not running correctly. It means it was poor software design and LG didn't design a way to correct the problem when it happens.
If you have insurance you can contact Asurion to secure a replacement. Hope this helps!
