SWA GUY
Reservations agent for Southwest Airlines, leaping over policies with a single bound. faster than a speeding...
Tina,
you are able to request to have a wheelchair for her when you make the reservation. When you get to the curbside check in just ask a uniformed southwest agent that you requested a wheelchair and they will get it for you. They will also help you or whoever will be dropping her off or picking her up push the wheelchair to help thru security and the checkin lines. Once at the gate an agent will stay with her and help her board the plane and assist her to her seat if necessary. This goes for departing and returning. She will also get priorty seating, just ask for priority boarding at the gate ticket counter.
When she arrives at her destination. an agent will be waiting for her with a wheelchair and will help her get her luggage.
You are able to request a wheelchair on our website when makeing the reservation or its best if you call 1-800-IFLYSWA (1-800-435-9792). This number will connect you to a reservations agent. Give them your daughters confirmation number and request assistance to her seat and request a wheelchair.
Its best to do this at least 24 hours prior to her flight.
I hope this information helps you
