I just purchased a new tv.

I just purchased a new tv. so I had to disconnect my dish network. I only disconnected the the one part, it is cable that comes out of the 3 cables that go into that little silver rectangle box which says -sat. 1, sat.2 and vhf/vhf and on the other end it needs to connect somewhere but I cant find a place to put it. Where does this go?

Rachel, there will be a cable coming from the wall. You want to connect that to the single end of the silver box. The Sat 1 cable needs to connect to the SAT1 location on the back of the receiver and then SAT2 needs to go to the SAT2 on the receiver. The VHF/UHF will need to connect to Home Distribution on the receiver. If you need further assistance with this, please send me an email at becki.barned@dish.com

      Hi Becki!
You are so right! And that is what I also figured out that needed to be done....FINALLY! Haha....what was confusing to me was we just had construction done on our walls so the cord was not hanging out of the wall! I feel so silly. Anyway thanks for getting back to me. And you explained things very nicely to where if I still hadn't figured it out yet, I would have been able to understand and follow your directions. Thanks again!
