I have a dual receiver and i am getting rid of one tv and going to single, I moved the receiver and plugged it in, now i get a 535 error. Can i still use this receiver?

If u hook the single receiver back in the same spot as the dual turner it will work. U might have to do a check switch. So go...

Ur dish remote and press the menu button. Then press the #'s 6-1-1. This is ur check switch screen. Do a check switch. Let me know if this helps, if not we can try something else. -

If I chose to add a second tv to this location to use the dual receiver. Can I split off of the incoming cable to use it in a new room, will this work? -

U can add a 2nd tv, but u can't split the main line. A splitter will mess it up. U can run a wire from the receiver to a 2nd tv and that will mirror that tv. If u do that run the wire from the tv in on the back of the receiver to the 2nd tv. If u do this I'll go step by step with u. Just let me know shelly. -

Yes you can but the room has to be rewired becuase the Dish cable from the room to the dish needs to be on its own line. it is no problem, just call 1800-333-3474 and havve a tech come out today.
