I added a wing dish dp plus to my existing HD turbo dpp I hooked the Wong dish up directly to sat 1 on VIP 612 box directly and got a signal of 60 when I unhooked cable and put it in port 4 of turbo HD 1000.2 it wouldn't show up no more and don't even recognize any connection to port says no/no connection I do have a separator on back of 612 with one wire going to the no. 1,port on HD turbo please help frustrated

    This is what I have on wing dish http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp?mc=02&p=DP... I did hook it to port 4 and port 1 on wing dish hooked directly to receiver from wing dish got 60 percent but know it says wrong sat 119 when hooked to 1000.2 with no connection on port 4

      1). UR 1000.2 LNBF HAS 4 PORTS ON IT..... U'LL SEE PORT 1,2 & 3. THE 4TH PORT IS FOR UR WING DISH, U NEED TO RUN A WIRE FROM THE 4TH PORT TO THE WING DISH..... THAT 4TH PORT WILL SAY LNB IN..... THE WIRE GOING TO THE WING DISH NEEDS TO BE HOOKED UP TO PORT 1 OR 2... CAN U TELL ME WHAT KIND OF LNBF UR USING ON THE WING DISH?

      BRENT DID U DO A CHECK SWITCH? GRAB UR DISH REMOTE AND PRESS THE MENU BUTTON. 1). SELECT THE NUMBER 6.... 2). SELECT THE NUMBER 1...... 3). SELECT THE NUMBER 1 AGAIN..... THIS IS UR CHECK SWITCH SCREEN..... 4). SELECT CHECK SWITCH.... 5). SELECT TEST. 6). ONCE ITS DONE IT SHOULD PULL UP THE 77 SATELLITE.....

      I done a test switch numerous times even cleared the matrix first but still get 1=119 2=110 3 =Conn x and 4=xx N.C..and here in Louisiana I aimed at sat 129 with wing dish

      No that's my primary but IM using a dish pro plus twin with two eyes for the wing dish I think maybe that's my problem I unhooked the 1000.2 and reconnected the dish pro
      plus twin and did a switch test know I get 119 and 129 just no 110

      Gotcha, Brent that 1000.2 gives u the 110,119 & 129 without the wing dish. U font need that Wing dish unless ur looking for a different satellite. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be confusing. It's hard to figure stuff out this way. I had to keep reading over ur 1st question. :)

      U shod have 1 wire coming from ur 612 to ur satellite 1000.2. Put that wire to port one. Give me ur zip code so I can give u the numbers for ur satellite.

      I couldn't get a good signal for 129 that's why I decided on the wing dish for better reception guess I could try and move the 1000.2 over where the wing dish is and try there 129 is hard to get with 3 eyes

      It right Brent, its very hard to get a good signal with that 129. I usually try to get mine around 30 to 40. That's the best u'll get most of the time. Lower the satellite just a bit & try that. That 129 satellite sis low.

      Sorry I could help ya with that wing dish, but I just called my office & they said adding a 1000.2 to a 1000.4 won't work. Let me know if u need more help Brent, I'll be here till were done.

      Ok I'll try that I really appreciate your time you helped me with I had a signal on all 3 sats when it was first connected but it got cloudy and it went out so I decided to move it instead of keeping it there and tweaking it maybe that was my big mistake
