Hi I just moved into my dads house where he has DISH.

Most often with this issue, it is going to be that the TV is on the wrong channel or input. But, if it is in the bedroom as TV2 (the room without the receiver) it will be that the TV has been put on the wrong channel. Try channels 60 or 73. If those do not work and you have confirmed that all the wiring is secure I would recommend contacting Dish for further troubleshooting.
Hope this helps!!0 comments1 other expert is backing this answer

You need to go to the menu of the TV and do a auto channel search. It should land on 60, 116 or 73 but a channel search will figure that out. Good luck

I've been a tech for Dish Network for 12 years & Directv for 3 years. I also was a Paratrooper (509th)...
This could b a few things. Channel, wire. Call Dish and have ur acct # ready and give them details and they can help. Sorry I couldn't b more helpful

first, ask your dad what his tv was set to before you moved in or turn your tv to ch 22 or 60 or 73 or 116 then take our dish remote and change channels.
