make sure tv is on and press the clearish tv button at the top of remote. hold until all 4 buttons light up and let off. press the big power button then press the channel down button until the tv turns off. press the # button to lock the code. here are the codes also to try if you can't get the power scan to work. press the tv button at the top until all 4 buttons light up and type in the code and press #. 505 506 516 523 526 566 573 612 627 647 652 653 654 655 656 658 680 704 717 730 738 755 833 858 897 good luck to you

Mr. fixitall is correct, if that don't work, try 680 (that one works on mine. If neither of those work, try this;
You can do a code search. This works on most tv's.
Make sure the TV is on
press the TV button on your remote until all the top buttons lite up
press the main power button
press the channel up button slowly, about once per second until the tv turns off.
(if you accidentally go past the code, sometimes you can press the channel down button to go back, but if not you have to start over.)
press the # button and you are done. -

738 is the best code to use. Others will work but some of them have the annoying side effect that you cannot hold down the volume key...you have to press it one click at a time.
