No problem we have direct tv for more than 10 years, we love it.

DirecTV 'used' to have a partnership with a company called Wild Blue. This was VERY high priced satellite internet and actually had nothing to do with DirecTV products. Best bet is DSL from your phone company.

DirecTV does not provide internet service. However we do partner with lots of land line phone companies, like ATT, Verizon, Quest, etc. Best to call 1-800-531-5000, and the rep will transfer to our Telco Group who can help you find a local provider. If you are wanting Satellite internet, although not directly through DirecTV, you can use Wild Blue or Hughes Net

Directv as stated, does not have it's own internet, it partners with local telephone companies. By bundling your service (directv/internet) depending on the partner, you can also receive a $10 / 12 month discount on your directv billing. Personally, dealing with bundles on a daily basis, I don't recommend it. Even if you bundle with directv, directv can not address any of your internet issues. Most people get transferred back and forth between the phone company and directv with each one telling you to call the other partner. I was helping a customer yesterday with an ATT Internet/Directv situation. I was conferencing a 3way call - it took the customer and 1 1-1/2 hours and 27 transfers to get to the correct person to resolve our internet concern.....I understand the convenience of only paying 1 bill instead of 2 but I can write 2 checks in about 2 minutes as compared to 1-1./2 hours just to find the right person to speak to. The choice is entirely up to you, but as I said, I really don't recommend bundles.
