Cannot access "turn on" power with remote unless I manually press power button on TV.

Cannot access "turn on" power with remote unless I manually press power button on TV. When this occurs I also cannot access the "volume" unless I manually again press volume buttons on TV. Everything else works fine on the remote with the exception of what I have just described. There are times when I am watching TV the on-off button and volume controls on remote begin working just fine; however,it is very short lived...goes back to the manual requirement for on-off plus volume

    Sounds like you need a new remote. Call 1800-531-5000 ask for tech support they can order you one. Remotes are about 20 bucks. Or you can buy one at your local walmart or bestbuy.
