I'm currently deciding whether I should fly Delta or American Airlines.

I'm currently deciding whether I should fly Delta or American Airlines. My preference is Delta but is there a good reason I should choose it over American, or any other airline for that matter? As an insider, could you give me a good reason to choose (or not choose) your company?

    I've been thinking about this and I'm not quite sure how to answer this. I can tell you that I love Delta and I think that while there can be problems with employees having a bad day or mechanical issues, (unfortunately every airline has these issues) we have good people who genuinely care and try to do the best job they can. And we have the best mileage program in the industry. (SkyMiles) We are very inovative and have also led the industry in customer service tools developed to assist on Facebook and Twitter and we developed the kiosk which can even check you in on international flights.

    But the simple truth of the matter is you need to look at the routes we both fly and see which airline serves more of the area you need to travel within. Every business and company has issues, but you have to decide which one you like better on an overall basis.
