I got two email confirmations of a flight and I never booked it.

I got two email confirmations of a flight and I never booked it. I contacted your service center in Europe yesterday evening. They said it is a sort of spam and you are having technical problems. Today I got another email confirmation with another ticket number. What can I do?

    Customer Phishing AlertWe have received reports from customers of fraudulent emails, social media sites, postcards and Gift Card promotional websites claiming to be from Delta Air Lines. As such, if you receive one of these messages please be advised of the following:


    •We recommend you change your SkyMiles account PIN/password immediately and monitor your account for any misuse.
    •These messages were not sent by Delta Air Lines.
    •You should not click on links in an email message, unofficial page or open any attachments.
    •Instead, you should delete the email from your inbox or disregard the website promotional claims.
    These messages may claim that you have purchased a Delta ticket, a credit card has been charged, order has been completed, an invoice/receipt is attached to an email or website may offer free flights for following or liking an account. If you see or receive one of these messages, do not open attachments as it may contain potentially dangerous viruses or harm your computer.

    Be assured that Delta did not send these messages, and our customers’ credit cards have not been charged by Delta as a result of the emails. These messages did not originate from Delta, nor do we believe that any personal information that you provided us was used.

      Keep in mind that delta's ticket numbers always start with 006 followed by 10 digits. notice this ticket number start 008. Our best advice is to disregard these phishing emails and certainly do not open any attachments that may come with these emails as they may contain malware that may harm your computer. They do not come from Delta Air Lines Inc.
