Hi Concetta,
I used to fly the MD-88. It's a great aircraft. It has a single aisle with 2x2 seating in first class and 3x2 seating in coach. It is one of our smaller mainline aircraft used on short to intermediate, primarily domestic routes. It seats 16 in first, 15 in economy comfort (more leg room) and 118 in coach. If you need seat advice, I would recommend the seat guru website: www.seatguru.com. If you're looking for more generic information, wikipedia has a pretty good overview at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McDonnell_Douglas_...
If you need anything else, I can be reached directly at: www.directly.com/in/TH3
Best of luck,
