In addition to what Tech Geek has already mentioned, if you are trying to transfer information from one email account to the Comcast email address, then there is a program you can download that should help with that process.
Follow that link, and follow the instructions. This will let you transfer your information from most major email providers. It will also send email notification to anyone on your address list so they know you've changed email addresses.0 comments

If you have a Comcast Internet account with us, you can have up to 7 email addresses. You can always check to see if your preferred username (the part before the @ sign) is available through Comcast. If you do not have an Internet account with us right now, we have some fantastic promotional offers right now and then you can see if your preferred username is available.
