Accepted answerHi Bobbi. Have you tried doing the code search as well? Here are instructions for that:
1. Turn on your TV.
2.On your remote, hold SET until the red light flashes twice, then release.
3. Enter 9-9-1 and the red light will flash twice.
4. Press CH+ multiple times until the TV turns off.
5. Once the TV turns off, press SET

I'm sorry you're having difficulty. unfortunately not every TV will work with the Comcast remote. 1 last thing you can try is to hold the SET button until the red light on Remote flashes twice and then let it go. enter 991 and a red light will flash twice again. now press your channel up button until the TV turns off. when the TV turns off pressure set button again to lock in the code. if after 2 or 3 minutes of pressing channel plus you do not have a result, then there is not a matching code for your television.

You sgould be able to get it to work with yhe above description. If u have the 32 led proscan the dta remote will work. I have the same tv and set up as you. Good luck
