how do u program the silver comcast/xfinity remote to the small digital converter box

Push the ch+ button to verify you can change channel if you can

Huh? You are trying to program your remote to work with your digital box? They come programmed already. You shouldnt need to program a silver remote. I must be missing something.

Not sure why you would want to program the silver remote to the DTA since it has its own separate small black remote. Those are already programmed for the box and then you only have to program the black remote to your TV. The silver remotes are intended for the digital boxes that can bring in Ondemand, Pay-Per-View and the interactive guide.

You must use the small black remote that came with the Adapter. You need to return the silver Comcast remote to your local office. -
There should be instructions that came with the equipment. All remotes might me different. If you can't figure it out, Please call the repair department at 1-800-COMCAST...Good Luck

If you are trying to program it to the DTA you cannot they have there own remote. Other than that the remote should be pre-programmed to work a standard digital converter.
