Trying to pay for medication from generic4all dot com.

Trying to pay for medication from generic4all dot com. When I pay with a ShopSafe number linked to my BofA Visa card, pmt gets rejected even after I okay the purchase to the automated call that comes in telling me that possible "fraud" has been detected. Billing request comes from a center in Latvia. How can I get BofA to accept this transaction?

Nix on investments but everything else is fair game!

There are some types of web sites that U.S, banks do not allow cards to be used on. Most often they are gambling sites but some of the non-domestic retail sites are also being targeted because of U,S, agency regulations. I wish I could state with certainty this is the case here but I don't have any way of knowing.
I do know sites based in some foreign countries should definitely be handled as suspicious -- the former eastern bloc countries as well as several African countries are well-known centers for illegal activities.
I would suggest doing research on this site before assuming it is legitimate; there's a reason why the bank is not allowing the transaction to go through.

Over the last couple of years I have purchased from Generic4Less, received the meds - which worked fine, and paid with the same Visa card that I attempted to use this time. So they are (or at least were) legit. The billing is from Latvia, and the meds were shipped from India. I called G4L on their 800 number and the agent was unaware of any problems with B of A, or the U.S. government. They suggested waiting a few days and trying again, or paying w/ a money order. Is there a number that I can call at B of A to unblock G4L? Thanks for your answer. Best regards.

Michael, I'm glad to hear it's not the merchant you're dealing with that's the issue. You can contact the online banking department and inquire on possible system issues with the ShopSafe number you're using. Their number is 1.800.933.6262
and you can call any of these times: Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–10 p.m. Local Time or
      Saturday–Sunday 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Local Time
