my paper work for my loan modification was filled out at the boa, i then fed-ex the paper work on 5-4-2012, the same day the boa bank helped me with the paper work,. today i got a letter stating they did recieve the paperwork before 5-5-2012, it was overnight, so now i will not be getting the modification it was approved because it was not received in time. when the paper work is fed-x do they just leave it on a desk some where, help please

Fed ex should have the tracking number and tell you who signed for it. If you cannot get that and prove they got it, you do not have a case. Sorry but hopefully you can track it then go straight to a supervisor

Unfortunately this happens way too often. It's the biggest issue with the modification process....you can always fax it from any banking center next time. Make sure you get the confirmation and follow up with the modification department a few hours later.
