    Stan, the only way to actually verify the check is to take it into a banking center. There is no method online for verifying checks and customer service associates are not allowed to verify funds over the phone. The only action they are allowed is to confirm with "yes" or "no" answers if a check has posted to the account it was drawn on -- and then usually only for a business.
