Slide remote switch to the right under TV. Push and hold mute & select until light flashes twice. Enter code 960. Light should flash twice again. Slide switch back to DTV. TV Input button should now work. Works great on my Vizio. Read entire answer

Kris try cutting the receiver and TV off then back on also make sure the audio jack is in as well if that doesn't work call customer care to further troubleshoot your issue they will take care of you call 1-800-531-5000 Read entire answer

Sherrie unplug ur receiver for 1 minute then plug back in. This will reset ur receiver & u should be good to go. Read entire answer

just press 202 on your remote - that will take you to CNN; or press your guide button and chose a channel you want to watch. Let me know if that didn't work Read entire answer

I strive to have a first contact resolution with customers at directv we are rated on our skill level by how many calls come in that we resolve without a need of call back or service call (first call resolution) and my percentage is 90%+ I only send out about 4 service calls a month so if I give an answer I make sure I give you proper information first time around.

Yes this is something that can be done as long as you are not in cut of level 2, also make sure to call 800-531-5000 and ask to speak to BGI or ACE department and ask for a promise to pay and extension. Read entire answer
